Mission Statement
The organization aNewERA is a grassroots organization founded to address gender-related issues such as equality, discrimination, and violence confronted by this generation’s young women. aNewERA believes that through the principles of Empowerment, Rights, & Advocacy (ERA), young women can be armed with the tools to appropriately navigate today’s complex gender-related environment.
aNewERA’s mission gets executed in three ways
Empowerment of young women through delivering knowledge and available resources.
Young women understanding and enforcing their Rights both legally and morally.
Promoting Advocacy at both the local level (e.g. high schools and colleges) and public policy.
We Believe
A New ERA believes girls have the potential to promote positive change locally and globally by starting a social movement. A movement that leads to a paradigm shift when it comes to gender equality, gender discrimination and gender based violence.
